At Bedugul on the edge of the lake stands the temple of Ulun Danu, set in delightful garden. The Ulun Danu Temple is dedicated to the spirits that control the irrigation system that derive their waters from the lake; there are also Buddhist and Islamic temples close by.

Vegetable Market: Half a kilometer from the Beratan Lake along the road back towards Denpasar, there is a flower and vegetable market. Vegetable Market known also as Pasar Kandang, is one of the most complete highland vegetable market with many type of highland green vegetable products, flowery, and greenery. During week end or public holidays this market is full from early morning up to the evening as the people passing the area on their journey from Denpasar to Singaraja or contrary will stop at the market to buy any product especially the vegetable and the fruits, and some buy greenery or flowery on pot. The location of Bedugul which is more then 1000 meters above sea level makes the area is very interesting place to relax, get fresh air with cold temperature.

Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest
Alas Kedaton object is situated at Kukuh Village, Marga, some 3 km northeast of Tabanan or 18 km northwest Denpasar. The Alas Kedaton tourist object and its attraction in Tabanan, is one of the objects drawing the attention of tourists in Bali. The area of Alas Kedaton feels cool and convenient as it is surrounded by deep jungle inhabited by hundreds of witty monkeys that swing around the trees, chat, amass the louse of their children and sometimes get quarreled with their fellows. In addition, flying foxes and fruits bat move back and forth on the twigs of trees.

Tanah Lot Temple
This celebrated but overrated site consists of a small temple perched on a rocky islet some one hundred meters out from the coast. Except at high tide you can walk across over the rock, but you will not be allowed up into the temple. It is locked except at festival times. But most people have little desire to go there; what they want to do is photograph it from the shore, preferably against the backdrop of a sunset.
