Bali Museum in Denpasar City Bali
13 September 2011Ethnographical Museum is the only museum in the city of Denpasar, precisely located in Major Wisnu street of Denpasar. Bali Museum was established on December 8, 1932, stored many collection of ancient objects on display in four buildings namely East Building, Buleleng Building, Karangasem Building, and Tabanan Building. Each exhibiting with typical characteristics such as: the East Building displayed prehistoric and historical collections include a collection of Balinese traditional technology results.
The Buleleng building reflects of North Bali style with characteristic lion statue displayed here are: Traditional Balinese cloth for religious ceremonies, while Karangasem building showcase tools and equipment of Panca Yadnva ceremony Tabanan Building exhibiting objects of art of Bali. Bali Museum is often visited by tourists as a place of recreation or as a place of research. Bali Museum opens at 08.00 am - 15.00 pm and close during national holidays).
